Garden cress

6.90

Lepidium sativum

This peppery herb is full of vitamins and iron. Add flavour to sandwiches and salads!

Our European ancestors used garden cress to season their food before the spice trade made affordable pepper varieties available. Although the range of spices available today is wide, garden cress should not be ignored.

It will add flavour to salads, soups and sandwiches. Tangy garden cress goes well for example with smoked salmon.
